There are a few advantages. First and foremost the chorus vibrato
is much more realistic than the V5 or my Stage and there are many more
variations in tone available. I like to have reverb available ( although
I'm not a fan of reverb before Leslie ) and believe it or not, I play
one song where I will use the generator brake feature. It allows me to
mix another input into the signal chain, so I can use the VK-8 and the
Stage organ at the same time into my Ventilator, which makes for lots of
cool possibilities for splits and stuff. The footprint is a little
larger than the V5, but manageable. It's a pretty nice addition to my
rig.
