Technically Wakeman is a more accomplished player but really it is subjective. To me Keith Emerson is my idea
of the greatest as far as what I listen to but at the end of the day these are all incredible players. IMHO YMMV

Rod Argent's solo on Hold Your Head Up is the "greatest organ solo ever."
Who said so?
Rick Wakeman on his TV series Face to Face, interviewing Rod Argent and Colin
Blunstone.
Says a lot about the qualities of both players.

As good as Argent is, I still think of Wakeman as a more complete keyboard
player. (OT 'Opinion piece')
