I was in college when thy arrived on the scene, the band I was in was soon all over that material. I think we did nearly 10 tunes from the first two records. That annual show we do is in remembrance of ABB playing at the Huntington movie theater in town.
I may not be doing this stuff on the real Beast, but I have logged many hours working up patches that address subtle differences (real and imagined) I hear in Greg's organ and drawbar settings from album to album. I can then assemble my set in MainStage (here's part of the set: http://www.exobit.org/~boo/AB2H2011.png ) and not give it another thought. Unfortunately this was all done using the NI B4II, I now have to rework these patches with my much-improved VB3. Don't feel too bad for me, I love doing this stuff and can't wait. They will all sound much better.
