You mean like the 10 or 15 years that the Hammond-Suzuki pumped out one model after another (prior to the XK-3) that had phase issues etc.? There has never been, nor will there ever be a product that is perfect from it's inception. If Laurens Hammond had waited 'till it was perfected, the B3 would still never exist. All B3s produced sound different. That would be considered a HUGE design and manufacturing flaw by todays standards. Speaking of the XK-3, since there is almost no difference between it and the XK-3c, wouldn't it have been nice if HS HAD put out an OS release that incorporated those changes instead of forcing you to buy the "new" model?
