1. The Switch mechanism behind a stop broke from old plastic fatigue. The extremely complicated circuitry caused about 1/4 of the notes on the upper manual to not work. I could not find a replacement. If I did it would be extremely difficult, almost microsurgery. If this one failed others would soon fail.

Sounds like the AOC tab... The only way around that one would be to
wire it so that the tab was forever "off"
