Yep, the (in)famous Leslie 950. So bad it was actually cool, in a way.
And on a related note: Why are white Hammonds and such considered such
a strange twist? A stage filled with a white set of keys has a stunning
look. Look at all the colors that Marshall and Vox amps have been
outfitted over the years. And how about the Vox Continental, or that red
Electro, huh? Rock music has always had a visual impact -- as Jimi
Hendrix would be the first to point out.
(Notice how I managed to put three recent topics -- the Leslie 950, a
white Hammond, and Jimi Hendrix -- together?)
