I haven't been following this thread, but I have to say that a Leslie
45 with a cabinet in good condition is worth $400. Most have a kit
inside them allowing a spinet power amp to connect directly, including
the switching connections. I have two, which I'll bring up to 145
performance levels when I find time. I can live without chorale, and I
like the convenience of shelling out cash on each a little at a time. I
don't anticipate a 45 dropping under $400 anytime soon, because that's
at least it's breakup value, but of course condition is everything.
