yeah i understand that ....this was the first time i had ever seen Cherry ...an
i been playing Hammond for 35 yrs... but what was so interesting was Cherry's
Body lanquage and showmanship ..it was so different..than i had ever seen.
She was Def very unique as a performer .

She was not an organist i would emulate ...her style was more like ..elevator
musak as someone else said ...not Rock an Roll or blues as i love .... a
number of the tunes she played ...were that weird 50's style...but i have to
give it to her she has a hell of a left hand an feet ..oh yes

I *think*, what people don't like about That Cherry video is that she misses
some of the syncopation that defines American Jazz and Blues organists. Maybe
that's the Bogus he's referring too. As much as I like her attack, and overall
presence on stage, the mechanical feel of the 6/8 rhythm in this is what folks
can't come to grip with. YMMV.
