Subject:Re:XM2-Vent Question
I'm not sure if this would be true for all XM-2/Vent situations or just be because of the eq curve of my speakers, but - try decreasing the lowest settings for the mids (around 480 I think) in the XM-2. I can't remember the list member who had said if you increase the mids it increases around the top of that range & if you decrease it it effects the bottom of the range (or that could be the opposite - I can't remember for sure). I do remember though when increasing the low midrange the whole sound was a little nasal allthough that seems a bit low for that tonal aspect. However when I decreased that range it sounded much better. Sorry I can't say for sure what is what here but I can say that (in my system, at least) it worked well.
