I personally agree with the comment below. The only time I hear drawbar manipulation in jazz is in a dynamic build up toward end of songs or sections. One could easily do this type of thing with the presets or with the butt of your palm laying down on a bunch of buttons at once. We might be opening pandora's box here, but just saying I agree.
