Subject:QSC K10 setup

Hello list, I was curious what the preferred way was to set up a keyboard or keyboards to a k10 or k10s for that matter. I currently have a 8 channel mixer and two k10s and have experimented with different ways of correctly connecting the components.

Specifically do you used line or mic level switch when using the keyboards and what volume levels do you have the mixer and also the back of the k10? What is the order I should set up the equipment?

I played a show last night and noticed the mixer going into the red on the level indicator so I turned up the k10 on the back but im not sure this is the right sequence.

I was told by someone to let the mixer do the "work" not the amp, meaning turn the levels up on the mixer and keep the k10 levels down.

Forgive me for lack of understanding of the situation as I am new to this type of amplification.

The reason for the question is that I thought I should have no problem with volume but found myself turning up slowly the whole night?
