Someone mentioned him earlier, but I've always admired Jimmy Greenspoon's work with Three Dog Night. Very tasteful and always compliments the song. He doesn't get enough credit but one of my favorites. Ditto on Ken Hensley with Uriah Heep - early influence for me and great use of Hammond in a hard-rock setting; great songwriter too. However, in the prog rock genre, Keith Emerson of ELP never fails to completely blow me away. The guy is from another planet! For some live footage check out the California Jam video; more chords/minute then ever, and in C# no less!
