Many (most?) of the settings on the CX-3 and BX-3 are 'relative'
settings, and I have a suspicion that some of them aren't linear,
either. The only general rule that I've found is that '50' seems to
represent an average level for things like depth.

A great example is the volume drop on the Normal percussion. A setting
of zero is no drop (duh!), a setting of '50' seems to be a 3-4dB drop,
and a setting of '63' seems to be a 6-7dB drop. So clearly, the change
isn't linear, and was probably chosen to provide as wide a *musically*
useful range.

I did a bit of visual tweaking when I first got my CX-3 -- i.e.,
comparing the sound of the CX-3 while watching my MIDI'ed Leslie -- and
determined that a horn speed of 9/90 and a drum speed of 8/85 were
pretty close to the Chorale/Tremolo settings of my typical older (c.
1968) Leslie. If you want the full set of parameters, they are still at
