Yep, it's 'real' purpose is as a graphics pad, but they've had mouse
drivers since the late '90s. It takes a little getting used to, because
the easiest way to use it is 'mapped' mode, where the corners of the
tablet represent the corners of the screen. The new ones will work with
pen or finger, but I like the pen best.
When I first had my problems, the least expensive one was about $200.
Today, the new ones are under $100.
Another good thing about them is that you can sign PDF documents --
really sign them, as opposed to electronic 'signatures.' Try to do that
with a mouse!
