FWIW, the mousing may have a LOT to do with it. I had a problem about
ten years ago with tendinitis. It got so bad that I couldn't even get
through a 2-hour rehearsal. I ended up going with a Wacom Tablet vs. a
mouse. Costs about $100 these days, but you can probably get your
company to spring for it. It puts all the strain on the tip of the
pen. It made a world of difference for me.
I stopped needing it about five years ago, but I might go back to it. I
mouse is an intuitive way to navigate, but not so great on the fingers,
IMHO.
