Subject:Ocean Beach Controller on a C1

I tested the Ocean Beach Digital Drawbar Controller with my C1 (I have just upgraded to a C2 so I happen to have both a C1 and a C2 at this point in time)and with it we encounter a similar problem.. When transmitting velocity data to an external module, it stops accepting CC control info, and the drawbar unit will not work...

However, there is a difference with the C1, and it's less of a problem because the C1 allows you to select velocity transmit individually for each manual, you can have the drawbar unit working fine on the upper manual, and have the lower manual transmitting note and velocity info to an external module.. so it does work and I think this would be acceptable for most users. The limitation of course is that you cannot transmit velocity and use the drawbar controller on both keyboards at the same time. It's one or the other but not both.

I see this as quite work able for most common rigs.. in my rig I only use the lower manual to control my external synth module so having the drawbar controller working the top manual (only), works for me... however, for others this might not be satisfactory.
