Subject:Microphones...ideas, suggestions

I sent this earlier and it didnt go thru so I will try it again.

Hi guys, I have a few Mic questions. Forgive me if this has been discussed
already.

I currently have a pair of;
senheiser e604 dynamic drum mics: 40hz-18khz
160 db "in excess of" before distort

And I am thinking about swapping for a pair of Audix i5's
50hz-16khz
140 db "in excess of" before distort

As I have learned here if you are miking a Leslie for live use mic selection,
placement of stands, where on the cabinet and the way they are set on the mixer
are all important factors when getting ideal sound.

My question is which of the mic's would you recommend or an alternative for that
matter?
Second I posted a couple new pictures of a recent show with a cool mic stand for
a Leslie, what are your thoughts.

Lastly, if there is any personal setup's you have found to work I would like to
know, including bass mic.

These mic's btw will be going into my mixer which I can adjust and then feed to
the board. I know in the end I am at the mercy of the sound man but as long as I
have done my best to get the highest quality tone I will be happy.
