I'm gonna take this off topic but I have some observations/comments as far as stereo FOH goes.

I noticed in the the early/mid '70 when I started to hear/see stereo FOH at concerts, any panning much off center would leave listeners off on the sides with an unbalanced mix. Hass panning and other techniques, and stereo miking of Leslies seem like they would overcome the balance problems simple panning presents.

Anyone know how FOH guys are handing stereo mixing these days?
