Subject:AXIOM or Novation ?

Hi All,

Have seen at Amazon the lastest model of AXIOM 61 keys:

M-Audio Axiom 61 Advanced 61-Key USB MIDI Controller, 2nd Gen
by M-Audio

As they're semiweighed the issue aren't keys but the digital inreface as the last being USB, can't be retroffited to USB DIN socket, shouldn't be featuring the known circular socket, unless was told by midiboutique than DIN to USB can be easily done, in fact has an M-AUDIO MIDISPORT 2x2 as it carries MERGE function that worths by itself the higher price.

On the other side it doesn't work as in the opposite way, so don't convert USB to MIDI DIN socket.

Told that as I'm looking here for M-AUDIO MIDI controller fairly priced but it's now a discontinued OXYGEN 61 keys.

Also saw Novation keyboards, 61 keys which looks better when regarding at weigh keys factor but again in my case as havinga VOCE modules with DIN connector, it should carry that socket as minimum requirement to play older MIDI modules.

I'd overlook DAW features in favor of DIN connectivity.

Tuning VB3 software can be donde thru a KORG nanoKontrol if the keyborard shouldn't have potentiometers to configure any VST software.

Any hints are appreciated.
