Amen to that. You know, for me authenticity is not even the main thing to be honest (as I've mentioned before in a previous post), as long as the sound is truly musical to me and works for what I do. That doesn't mean it's perfect or that it couldn't be 'better', whatever that is.

A Hammond is an emulation of a pipe organ, but it's sound is musical al by itself without need to keep comparing it to an actual pipe organ.

A Rhodes or Whurly start out, afaik, as 'emulations' of a piano, but their sound is musical al by itself without need to keep comparing them an actual piano.

To me these are all just instruments and either I like their sound and will use it in my music or I won't like it and won't use it.
