Subject:Re:OT Privia P3 vs Motif 8 pianos
All of these comparisons are completely unfair. The Motif costs three times what a Privia PX-330 or PX-3 costs. If it doesn't sound better, there is something wrong. At its price point and weight, the Privia PX-330 is a pretty good board for what it is. The PX-3 is supposed to be much better. The P95 is really not a professional board. Spend a little more money and get a Yamaha S-90 XS or if you want really good piano and Rhodes sounds get a Yamaha CP-5. Or go with one of the newer Roland boards with the new modeling technology. You get what you pay for. Although no one seems to carry them, Kurzweil and Kawai also make decent boards. I like Kawai but their Rhodes patches are too sweet for me and they haven't come out with anything new in a while which had me concerned.
