It may interest you to know that during a back to back Michael
McDonald-Boz Scaggs concert last March, both of their keyboard players
chose a VK7 over an XK2 as both were available for use.

I'm in the market for a clone-wheel module, but can get used CX-3 or
VK-8 off eBay for a better price than most modules. I do not have the
luxury of being able to try either, so relying on online User Reviews,
You-tube and recommendations from users on this forum.
That being said, whatever I end up with MUST sound better than a
Hammond XK-2 (been there, done that - no T-shirt)and have a reasonable
built-in Rotary Sim (Ventalator eventually on the wish list). Lastly,
my playing style/sound preference is more vintage rock (Winwwod, Heap,
Santana, etc..) than jazz or blues.
Any personal experience or recommendations are greatly appreciated &
does anyone have links to the Clone-wheel shoot-offs? (I can't seem to
find them)
