I wouldn¹t necessarily say that the K8s dispersion pattern is better, I
believe that any difference is due to the fact that engineering was trying
to match it to the crossover point they chose for the 8in woofer. The K8
isn¹t the best choice for live gigging, unless it is used in conjunction
with one of the Ksubs. The 8s alone would be great for monitoring at home
or rehearsals where volumes are kept in check.
