Yes. Depending on how you're planning to use them, having a wider dispersion is not always the best solution. For example, if I'm running through the mains and using them primarily to hear myself, a narrower pattern is best. I actually ended up selling my Bose system because the dispersion was so great that it was making it difficult for our singer (serious diva) to hear her floor monitors.
