I will be playing left hand bass a lot, so bass response is critical. Maybe I can get Guitar Center to let me audition the K10s against the K12s with a Nord sometime.

Keep me posted on your progress with the decision.

If the K12s preclude us from needing a sub, then the extra weight is still worth it against the Ksub, which is not cheap!
