I just got my Ventilator, and it's killer with the C1..  I was always very happy with the C1 leslie sim, and I really fussed over whether or not the ventilator would improve the leslie sim enough to justify the cost..  the answer.. from my perspective of course.. Absolutely, it's fantastic..
 
Thursday night we tried it in stereo with an Electro 3 through some QSC K8's at the music store where I work, and when you flip from bypass to ventilator, it's incredible, the swirling sound just starts filling the room.. the other thing I noticed that is extremely realistic is the change from stopped/brake to tremelo... on the ventilator it's just like a real original leslie 22..
 
Last night my guitar player and I tried the ventilator as a guitar effect and I have to say that it's just as realistic on guitar as it is on organ.  My guitar player uses various leslies and pretty much every leslie sim ever made (he used my real 147 leslie on a couple tracks of our CD, see myspace below), and he says this is the best leslie sim he's ever used. There's a certain "crunch" that you get from the horn of a real leslie that no other leslie sim seems to duplicate properly.. The ventilator does this perfectly.
 
All I can say is Wow.. !

Something anyone considering a Ventilator should be aware of is that:
I've had my Ventilator for maybe a month and I've found I don't play the
piano anymore, I don't play the guitar anymore, I stay up too late, I
don't get enough exercise, etc. Playing the organ through this thing is
truly addicting! I have three great organs (XK1, C1, and E3) and I used
to play them through a Motion Sound Pro 3T, Low Pro, and KBR-M - lots of
moving air and power in that setup and it sounded great, or I'd use a
Nord with its simulator through a JBL Eon 315 and that sounded great.
Someone recently questioned if the Ventilator is just a fad. When I
first heard you guys talking about it I thought it was mass hysteria -
nothing could be that good I figured. But I ordered one from Germany
figuring I could sell it easily if I didn't like it. And, to be honest,
it did take some getting used to; being used to the other simulators (as
good as they were), I wasn't ready for the intensity of this thing.
But, the more I used it, the more I loved it. I sold the KBR-M, then
realized that even the Pro 3T/Low Pro (which I loved) seemed brittle and
compressed, I sold that also and got a second Eon 315. Playing any
organ through the Ventilator in stereo through those speakers is just
amazing! I've even been playing my Farfisa Professional through it and
it sounds just like Sly at Woodstock! Yeah, it is addicting!
