You have a great point here. I'm a huge proponent of the Ventilator - it
is truly amazing. Having said that, I saw a friend perform a week ago on
an old M1 Korg, playing its stock internal organ and Leslie sim and in the
hands of a good player like this, It sounded fantastic. Sometimes we get
a bit hung up on the details instead of just making music. I guess I'll
always strive for the closest thing to the real thing after playing the
real thing for many years, but that's my battle and really doesn't have
that much to do with making music.....
