I've always felt that a dedicated keyboard amp or a PA-style amp and
speakers is better. Most bass amps have a cabinet that it tuned to the
needs of bass: a strong bottom end (good!), a nice upper-midrange honk
to put the string harmonics front and center (may not be so good). It's
a lot easier to control multiple keyboards if the sound system is kind
of neutral. That's why many players use self-powered PA cabs.
