Subject:Re: What will a Ventilator give me that my onboard CX-3 sim doesn't?
Bruce,
That'd be cool. I tried that setting with the bright, it helped, but I'd be curious as to the other "numbers" you're using. I sat doen in the studio and tried to tweak everything hitting a key on my hammond, then the CX, and just going back and forth but it changes so much depending where you are on the keyboard. I got the low end down, but once you get onto the top half it really shrills out. It'll be interesting to hear it through the vent for sure.
I'm also going to record the CX3 into a leslie and run a track of just straight CX3 along with it and send it to the vent people, then I'll have a real good AB comparison. Unfortunately I can't figure a way to do that using the onboard sim other than take a midi file, but it should be interesting to say the least to hear all this stuff.

P.S. was it you that had an EQ curve for the CX or someone else?
