Haven’t heard much about the Diversi organ in recent months (not really a
surprise, is it?). I don’t know what’s going on there, but I just found this
(courtesy of another forum) this morning. It looks like Joey D. has aligned
himself with either 1 or more companies in a new venture. (

opens up the PDF brochure where Joey D is prominently displayed. It looks
like KeyB and Studiologic procreated! I don’t know if Joey’s affiliated with
KeyB, or Studiologic, or the joint NUMA venture, or if this is an offshoot
of the Diversi lineup, but it would seem to me that if Joey was financially
invested in Diversi (as advertised), this new development signals the end of
that Diversi product, either because it has been swallowed up into this new
NUMA Organ, or because Joey is no longer involved with Diversi. Anybody know
anything?

Either way, good news for us clonewheelers! While Korg and Roland seem to
have abandoned the clone market, here in the States, we still have
Hammond-Suzuki, Nord and newcomer Ventura (I’m digging the TX5). Maybe Numa
will have a US presence too? I’ve heard of the NUMA piano for a while, but
like Diversi, it had no market presence in the US.
