Subject:Re: Motion Sound KBRM

Yeah, I have a KBRM and I love it. I got it new a number of years ago
(it's a black wooden one with gray grill cloth). When I got it home it
did sound awful, but the guys in the store replaced the tube (I don't
know with what), and what a difference - ultra thick and rich with
sparkling highs! Mine had the short bass port and the bass response is
awesome (I have the bass rotor 'bass' control up high and its volume
lower). But, since I'm aiming for the lightest rig in the world to play
out with (I use a Electro 3 and JBL Eon - combined weight about 50
pounds - which is twenty pounds less than the KBRM itself), I'm selling
mine, too if anybody wants it! I might try a Ventilator and see if its
worth the extra pound or two!
