Subject:Re: favorite Ventilator settings

Well In am repeating myself again:

The Ventilator was the very best purchase of music equipment in years. It literally saved my XK-3 which sounded poor with the internal sleslie sim and OK'iosh with the rotary speakers I had access to (and were hard ro transport and mike) = the Solton Twin Jet and the ELKA-tone. Don't dismiss these mechanical lealies from the early 80s that easily - they are great!
But the Ventilator just nails it. My XK-3 system with custom cab sounds fantastic through the Vent. The sound engineer always knows what kind of signal he-/she gets with no leakage - it saves a lot of hassle and it sounds fantastic. I can hear the bell-like treble horn sound without the "whining" of the B4-II sim, the bass drum pumps - and the vent just adds both reality and power to the Hammond Clone you are using.

After a few gigs: very highly recommended. You pay like 500 bucks but considering the "no schlepp", reliability, ease and "no leakage" signal - it is a bargain.

Just my 2c,
Christian
