Subject:Re:New Ventilator- Footswitch??
Even though I am an Electro 2 lover I would recommend the V5…It still has
the most balls out of any clone I have ever heard. The thought of combining
the V5+ and the Ventilator makes me want to spend some money…

have a Voce V5 and used it as my hammond clone through the Vent. It really
came alive. It is everything you all have been saying.

model number. It has 2 switches that can be used to do what you require. One
caveat is that it uses a 9 volt battery. When I was checking out pedals I
had nixed getting this one because of that. "But not to worry", said the
salesman. "The battery is only used to power the LED's". Unh-unh!!! I let
the battery run down & no battery = no use of the switches. I've since
discovered that one of the PRO-3 pedals will work w/o rewiring it. I have
both the PRO-3 & PRO-3T. Neither works now, but the wiring in the foot
switch is different for the 2 models. Don't know which one is for which
cabinet. The one that works is regular gray aluminum finish - the one that
doesn't is painted black, if that helps. I've thought about trying the V5
with the Vent. I'm not sure I could get used to the subtle amount of chorus
& perc. it has though. You can mod the perc. to be a little stronger, but I
don't think there's any similar fix for the chorus. But back to the subject:
the Boss & PRO-3 are the only pedals I know of that work out of the box but
there very well may be others out there.
