Subject:RE: Does anyone own a Hammond xk3-c?
Run your XK3-c through a tube pre amp made for this type of problem. Ask
around about a Speakeasy Tube Pre-amp.

I just bought one used and it is an awesome clone, however it still sounds a
bit digital and shrill in the upper registers. I can't place my finger on it
but if use any setting other than 888800000 it starts to sound digital
anywhere above middle c even with the tubes on.
Does anyone have any tweaks that they have done to make it sound more warm
close to the b-3 as possible in the upper registers?
Also should I change out the tubes?
Currently I'm running a motion sound pro3t with tube and simulated low
rotor. It even sounds shrill with headphones as well
