Subject:Weekend Warrior and rig questions
Brian/Ken/Norm, et al, thanks for all the kind words.. yes our 11STEPS band is a thrill to be a part of.. all good musicians, playing good old classic rock (mid 60's to mid 70's) the way it was meant to be played.. and most of our covers are indeed songs where the keys and guitar are well balanced.. and I'm lucky to be in a band where the guys all love the Hammond organ!!
We're planning on recording our next performance at the Orbit Room, so by the end of the summer, in addition to our original CD, we may have a LIVE CD available that is a mix of covers and originals... we do a killer versions of Green Eyed Lady, Hush, and Hold Your Head Up!
Brian to answer your question.. in the short video that appears on our website, I am playing my C1 through a Roland KC880 amp (which I am sitting on).. but my rig now is a C1, through a Ventilator into two QSC K10 powered Monitors.. I am loving this rig.. great sound and very portable!!
Thanks also for the compliments on the original music.. This was a huge project for us to undertake.. I wrote or co-wrote 10 of 12 songs on the CD, and this is my first every original project. We're very proud of the CD, and we've received some great feedback!! Thanks for checking it out.. don't forget you can order or download it from CDBaby!!
Regards,
Craig MacDonald

Holy Crap you guys kick A$$!!! I love hearing a band where the keys and
guitars have interplay and not so much of the guitar dominance that bands
around here have. Are you playing through a real Leslie in the video? Or is
that the sim on C1? I love the originals hell my wife even liked them and
that says a lot because she usually hates anything proggy.Killer stuff!!!
Keep it up!!! It's a shame that good music like yours gets no credit down
here in the states unless the club is full of prog-loving keyboard
players.Damn I'm jealous!!!
