Real Hammond "smooth" drawbars have 2 contacts spread apart so that at
least
one contact is always touching a drawbar bus, which prevents dead spots
where a drawbar can get disconnected.
These 2 contacts have a 1 ohm resistance wire between them. Instead of
the
original transformer taps, I am using the bus bars as voltage sources,
hence
I have to have a higher resistance to prevent shorts.
It's kinda hard to explain in a short email!
