That is the infamous Deep Purple / Faces tour. I saw a show from that
tour at Pirate's World in Dania Florida. Deep Purple blew The Faces
off the stage! And it was not just volume. it was the first tour of
Mark II with Lord, Blackmore, Gillan, Paice, and Glover and the energy
level of that band was unmatched... And when the drunk Faces took the
stage the air was sucked out of the auditorium. Soon after DP was
fired from the tour caused they consistently upstaged The Faces.
