Subject:Ventilator NO noise

Running my XK-3 into the Ventilator, if the XK-3's tube amp is on, then noise can be heard from the Ventilator's output. Switch the tube amp off and there is no noise.
Similarly turning the XK-3's volume down to zero when tube amp is on, results in no noise.

The above applies whether or not the Ventilator is in by-pass or operating.

The Ventilator doesn't have any integral noise. You can check this by turning your clone's volume down to zero. Any noise will disappear.

Simple answer to sound-man's problem, turn your keyboard volume to zero between numbers if your clone is generating noise or turn off an XK-3 tube amp. The modelled amp in the ventilator does quite nicely on its own.

I couldn't understand the noise question mentioned a few months ago when I had an XK-1. Some-0ne posted that there was a realistic wind noise generated by the Ventilator, that I hadn't noticed.
The XK-3 with tube amp provided the answer.
