Mine's pretty quiet. I'm playing a C1 through it into a Bose L1. I took
measurements with a Radio Shack sound level meter: With no notes played at
my current gain setting the Bose is putting out less than 50 db about an
inch from the array, (the Radio shack gizmo doesn't register anything
quieter, and the computer I'm sitting next to is louder). With one note
latched is was around 110 db in the same spot.

Is it possible some high end hiss is coming off your keyboard and getting
Ventilated?
