They were using Roland amps. (Enough said.....) In a clip by Sound on
Sound, the interviewer put his mic close to the amp and it sounded better.
My experience with Roland organs is that they default to a rather hard edged
heavy rock and roll sound. The other sounds are they, but you have to tweak
to get them. I like the functionality of the unit and am with holding
judgement until I get my hand on one.
