The Vent has a small power transformer that comes with a standard power cord with a "figure * end that connects to it. If it is being shipped to the US, it will come with US plug on the other end of the cord. If elsewhere, it should come with the appropriate cord. (Originally they call came with the German cord and US users had to go to Radio Shack to get a US cord). Mine was one of the first to ship with the US cord.

The transformer accommodates either 220 or 120 so its entirely up to the wall end of the cord as to what plugs it will fit.

Dear Vent users:
What kind of A/C adapter are you using to power the Ventilator?

on't worry. It will get there. It just takes a while. The handoff from DHL
german post office) to the US postal service is sloppy and sometimes it just
akes a while. Actual deliveries have taken anywhere from 5-7 days to 5-7
eeks. Mine took about 3 weeks plus a bit.
Also if you want to follow up, there really is nothing that can be done until
fter 30 days. You can track it with the tracking number you received, but you
on't find out too much. The german system is cool, it tells you that it was
icked up and where it went and that it was handed off to the foreign post
ffice.. although they use odd terms.
But the US tracking system sucks. They may tell you they got it, but thats it.
t will show up as delivered 2-3 days after you have received it. In between,
t doesn't tell you squat.
Just be patient. No one has lost one yet. They've only been delayed.
Thats my humble opinion.

I ordered myself a Ventilator last weekend. I'm looking forward to
etting it. The only complaint I heard was about shipping time, maybe
oliday season compounded that. The official shipping time is listed as
10 days. I live in Ohio. Can somebody tell me if that time frame is
ccurate or when I should start wondering what happened to it?
I wish I could have heard one live but the buzz on the list told me that
he Vent was a quantum leap improvement over other sims. Much as I like
y V5, I was never happy with the Spin II, and I never came across a sim
hat was all that much better than the internal on the XK3. Once the
ent arrives, I'll try hooking it up with the XK3, the V5 and the VB3
nd report back.
Thanks!
Larry
