Hey Joost,

Found these interesting links:

MacSound rotary speaker:

Seems to be a Proline replica.

BTW also here an impressive list or organs manufacturers, Europeans and not.

Best,

Rafael

Right now there is a guy here in holland who build 6 valve 6550's into
leslie's

I use a 6 channel Sound city 70's PA amp . real monster :-) with 4 tubes
It is precisely the same width as the elka cabinet
the tech guy said there is almost 1000volts on the tubes so I have to
replace them often?

And i use a ampeg SVT classic for mono synths sounds, but looking for
good speaker to go with it, is you play low notes there is really
moving something :-)

And recently hifi 73 watt valve amps ( 2x 6550 ) designed by
MennovanderVeen with tannoy dmt 15's studio monitors.
the tannoy's are very efficient so 100-110 decibels is possible with
those 73 watt's :-)

those tannoy's and (analog) synths is really as angels are pissing in
your ears!!! :-) :-))

there is a link somewhere on the net for the macsound tw500 it is 70watt
15" little to weak for me so i run the signal first into a x-over and
the <150hz is fed to the `soundcity

o and the macsound i drive with a philips 70 watt el6425 early 60"s amp
this amp has so much sweat crunch and distortion there is nothing what
sounds nicer so far as I know for organ. ( the transformer is too small,
the components are old and the valves are a high end philips brew which
they used in lots of there equipment.
it is a 100v amp with a ring trafo added to it to transform to 8 ohm.

I think valves sound nice :-)

regards Joost
