Subject:Help with XK-1 damper pedal

Hi
Suddenly I can´t use footswitches as damper pedals with my Hammond XK-1. I´ve tried several, but in all of them is like the polarity was changed.I can´t find any mention to polarity control in the user manual, only about "tip" and "ring". I´ve been playing electric pianos and controlling external piano modules without damper issues until now, with factory settings. Apparently there is no reason to fail. So any help will be appreciated.
