Put me in the take the real thing out, although it's heavy! But there's nothing like the feel of a real clav, the electronic ones just don't have that action, which makes the clav more than the sound in my opinion. I run it through a tube guitar amp typically. Every once and a while I'll go direct if I'm feeling lazy.
