Makes sense someone would fiugure out how to play it. It had to have an identifiable lilt to it inorder to be appreciated as music, ergo it can be copied.

I'm not so sure. Rabbit Bundrick is a phenomenal keyboard player. I read an interview with him a few years back, and he talked about auditioning for the Who. He came in and played Baba O'Reilly -- live, on a synth!

Townsend: "How did you do that?"
Bundrick: "I suppose the same way you do."
Townsend: "I use a sequencer!"
Bundrick: "Oh, I never thought to use one."

I'm paraphrasing the conversation, but it's a true story. I believe the interview was in Keyboard.
