+1 on FBT. I have a pair of MaxX4a's and although these are backed by a pair of MaxX10sa subs the MaxX4a on their own sound very good too; the extra subs simply allow me to go louder (tops are connected to the 10sa's internal X-over) and give me even more bottom end. I use this set as a small PA for bands in small venues (up to 250 spectators or thereabouts).

If you live in Europe you can get a _very_ good deal on FBT by ordering direct from Italy (where they are manufactured). I got mine from (link to MaxX4a):

Just EUR 590 incl VAT per box for the MaxX4a. Shipping for a pair of 4a's and 10sa's (about 128kg) from Italy to the Netherlands was just 100 Euro. I would have paid a lot more had I ordered from a local reseller. I am extremely satisfied with this set.
