I have loved the sounds of the Kawai K-3 or the Kawai 502
I think these are 56 in tall upright pianos,
with a very nice sound .
Yamaha also has a nice upright affordable piano.
Boston is another I have played an loved its sound ...Boston is an affordable
Steinway

Subject: [CWSG] acoustic vrs. digital pianos OT!

I know this is a very off topic question, but I trust the opinions of
you guys. My wife and I are looking at buying a piano for our parlor.
We've found a very nicely rebuilt 60 year old Canadian spinet sized
piano. It sounds and plays beautifully and it looks very cool. It is
the same price as a nice digital piano would be. I never thought I'd be
interested in a home digital piano, but I love the sound of the pianos
in my Nord Electro 3 and I wonder what kind of troubles this acoustic
piano might develop over the years. Ideas?
