Or like the VK-8.
I've had mine about 4 or 5 years now.
I'd never even heard of it until I mixed the sound for a Jazz/Fusion type group on the local College Campus.
He only had the one board and played piano the first 60% of the concert, then went to organ.
Got my attention big time.
While we were tearing down I ask him about the board and he told me what it was and that the VK-7 had been quite popular before it.
Supposedly it was going out of production, so I started looking for new old stock, and found one.
I paid less for my new VK-8 than the are selling for used lately.
And I see that the 8 and the 8M are still being made and sold.
I have a friend that is a pro that plays the Nord and loves it.
The bar is indeed high.
