The answer is
A) nothing or
B) a real leslie.

I often run the VK8m using just chorus vibrato, with no spin ala Brian
Auger, Jimmy Smith or a multitude of classic jazz guys.

As far as the Ventilator blowing away the VK8m sim, that was not my
experience. I have spent a lot of time with the VK8m, and have gotten it to the
point that I am happy with it. I played a Ventilator and just did not feel I
had to have it.

Did I misunderstand, or is the Ventilator a mono unit? I really like a
stereo sim and as far as they go,the Key B and Diversi is the one that I
have really liked the most. If I buy an outboard sim, I am waiting to see if
Key B comes out with one. Till then, I don't need to switch.

As far as my rig beating up your rig... a lot of it has to do with who is
behind it and how it is used.
