Subject:What will a Ventilator give me that my onboard CX-3 sim doesn't?

With nothing but 100% love shown everywhere for the Ventilator, I'm sorely tempted to get one. But on the other hand, I happen to love my CX-3's onboard sim - maybe my only complaint is I wish I could get even faster ramp-up / ramp-downs on it than it allows by setting speeds to zero - but other than that, I think it sounds great. So is a Ventilator going to be THAT much better? Also will comment that I've never figured out how to engage the alleged brake feature it has - the manual seems to indicate that you can only get that through a pedal. Love to hear your help on that one too.
